For more than a decade, Sacramento and other American cities have been ripping out unused railroad tracks and turning old rail corridors into bike and recreation trails. In Folsom, a group of train enthusiasts is bucking that trend by bringing a slice of the region’s rail past back to life.

Final Question: Well that form of manipulation didn’t work! What?

Final Thoughts:
Lots of coverage today on so many events happening around town this weekend. CHP making Ice Cream for the Golf Tournament. Bethany stomping grapes for wine. Mark S. Allen riding the rails highlight some of what went on Today in the News. The 3 shows all had busy and for the most part entertaining. However in my opinion Good Day Sacramento was much more enjoyable. I talked on Monday how I felt like the 3 shows each had something missing and they have all gotten better as the week went on. I love when Good Day Sacramento sends Cody on a challenge like they did today, dressing him like a pirate to get a dozen donuts at Krispy Kreme. Only a few people can carry out this task and Cody is for sure one of them. Cody has a birthday coming up this weekend so be sure to follow him on twitter at @tvcody to wish him your birthday greetings. FYI I got him something really special to celebrate so I’m hoping he can show it on the show Saturday when I deliver it Friday.
Until tomorrow have a great day.
